Guilt-free consumerism. Leaving alone the fact that consumerism is just the man’s way of keeping the masses down through the sedative effect of mindless-acquisition-of-crap, I have often wondered how it would feel like to walk into a retail shop with $15 billion in the bank and just going ape-shit.
No questions about how this spree will affect next month’s budget. No worries about how the next meal will consists of soggy bread and plain water. No family giving you grief about overspending on superfluous luxury items. No extra hours at the office to scrape together a measly salary at the end of the month. In fact no nothing except for pure unadulterated gratification of the gatherer instinct. One can dream, right?
